Space Planning assists in finding solutions for space problems within a department through partnerships with University administration and the University Space Committee.
The review, analysis, assignment, and management of UI campus space plays a major role in the success of University programs. Effective and efficient utilization of this limited resource relies on a collaborative partnership between campus programs and space management professionals. The team approach, grounded in the Provost office and supplemented by formal space policies and guidelines, help align programmatic needs with space assignments in support of institutional objectives.
To reserve a classroom for an event, please contact Classroom Scheduling.
If you would like additional or different space for your department, please work with your Dean's office on finding a solution within your unit. If this is not possible, your Dean's office should reach out to Campus Planning.
